existential zero

“He touched her breasts and headed downward to the holiest of holies.”

“holiest of holies” I never thought of anything on me as holy. It makes me wonder deeply what it must be like to wander this earthly plane as a man.

I won’t tell you who said that. You would slam your hands to your ears and screaaaaaaaaaam. So let’s keep it out of context.

Michael Crichton was talking about the absurdity of modern life when he said:
(I’m paraphrasing here.)
“I’m afraid that one day I will walk into a store to buy a hat, and I’ll look inside and it will say: WARNING: Hat will obstruct view if pulled over eyes. CAUTION: Hat will warm head. DO NOT USE AS A HAT.”

I love that soooooooooo much I am going to have it embroidered in little block letters on one of my hats. DO NOT USE AS A HAT. That says it all.

MEDIA MATTERS (real scoop)

dotdotditdot

The chip is painless and offers peace of mind.

How long does it take for a country to recover from 8 years of Neo-Fascism?

The REAL question is: What is the correlation between TITANIC being the highest-grossing movie of all time and Dubya being re-elected?

Did you know there was a "successful" vote in Vietnam before it fell?

Overheard conversation: "I didn't like my sister-in-law at first, but now I see how she dominates my brother...she's better than I thought." UGH.

Another one: "You mean the government doesn't authorize everything we read in newspapers?"

and lastly..."We read Glamour so we can be conformists."
